Meaning Punjabi: Jadon kise da koi kamm karan daa mann nhi hunda taan ohh ajehi sharat rakh dinda jehdi puri hee na ho sake tahi keh dinde ne ki ” Na nau man tel hoyu, te na radha nachu “

Meaning English: When a person doesn’t want to do something then that person puts a unrealistic/impossible kind of condition in exchange of that work so then people use this proverb to criticize that person..

Example: You can think of credit card points which takes almost impossible time to reach a limit to purchase…

7. Jithon di khoti, uthe hi aan khaloti! or Mud Kud booti Bohad Thale!

Meaning Punjabi: Eh kahavat us vaste hai jisnu bahut samjavan too baad bhi ghum phir ke ohi swaal puchi jaave taan kehnde ne “Jithon di khoti, uthe hi aan khaloti”

Meaning English: Proverb used for a person to whom someone try to explain about some query but that person ask again and again same question despite being explained multiple times.

8. Chhapad or Tobbe da gwaah daddoo!

Meaning Punjabi: Jaddon kise de gawai koi ajeha banda bharda hove Jehda aap hee ose kam ch fasiya hove taan keh dinde ne “Tobbe da gwaah daddoo”

Meaning English: When a person caught on something wrong but supported by similar other bad person then this proverb is used. 

9. Jhabhal putt na Jamiye, Dhe anni changi!

Meaning Punjabi: Jado kisi bande nu koi kam karan vaste behjia hove par ohh kam swaran dee jagah usnu khraab karke aa jaave taan kehnde ne “Jhabhal putt na Jamiye, Dhe anni changi”

Meaning English: When a person being sent to complete some work but instead that person spoils the work then the proverb is used.

10. Aap na Vassi, Lokaan nu Matti!

Meaning Punjabi: Jehda banda aap taan kise kam nu karan jooga hunda ni par dujiya nu matta dinda phirda hai kiven ohh kam karna hai taahi loki kehnde ne ” Aap na vassi, lokaan nu matti”

Meaning English: When a person himself is unable to do something but preaches others how to do it then people put this proverb on that person.
